    Florence C. Otten, 77, of Barling, formerly of Subiaco died Thursday, July 27, 2006, in Fort Smith. She was a bookkeeper at Post Winery, a homemaker and a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Eva (Komp) Schmalz; and her husband, Bob L. Otten. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2006, at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco with burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home, Paris. She is survived by two daughters, Cindy McConnell of Fort Smith and Sandra Moore of New Blaine; a brother, Richard Schmalz of Hayward, Calif; six grandchildren, D.J. Ross, Brook Jobe, Wes McConnell, Rachel McConnell, Tahra Moore and Dylan Dodd; and a great-grandchild, Brooklyn Jobe. Pallbearers will be Bill Schluterman, D.J.
