George Caspar Ehrbar/Erbar was an older brother of Margaretha Ehrbar, 1st wife of Carolous/Charles/Carl Erbar/Ehrbar. He came to America in 1854 with his sister, Anna Marie. He was naturalized on October 10,1857. In the 1860 Census he was listed as a merchant in Brooklyn Township. He died at his residence on Fulton Road and was buried from St. Stephen's Church. He was buried at St. Mary's cemetery at 41st Street and Clark Avenue
